Code of Conduct for Players
Table Tennis England expects that everyone involved with table tennis will: respect the rights, dignity and worth of anyone they meet in our sport; treat everyone equally regardless of age, ability, race, religion, ethnic, origin, social status or sexual orientation; accept it is all our responsibility to challenge any injustice that may occur within our sport and accept that everyone has the right to be protected from abuse. These guidelines will prove useful for players to play a positive role in participation in our sport.
- Always do your best in every situation and set a positive example to others
- Must arrive at the DTTA in time for the start of their specified session (league matches)

- Must be courteous and polite to all the people they meet whether they are opponents, officials, practice partners, coaches, fellow team members or spectators.
- Must play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions.
- Must wear suitable clothing and footwear
- May encourage and support fellow team members but without behaving in an unsporting manner towards opponents.
- The use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or inappropriate language towards others in a sporting environment will not be tolerated.
- Must clear up playing hall after a session ie broken balls and water bottles etc into the bin provided and help to clear away the balls.
- It is inappropriate to smoke, consume alcohol or use illegal substances in a sporting environment.
