All DTTA\u00a0Officials and volunteers must:<br>Consider the well-being and safety of participants before the development of performance.\u00a0<br>Develop an appropriate working relationship with participants, based on mutual trust and respect.\u00a0<br>Make sure all activities are appropriate to the age, ability and experience of those taking part.\u00a0<br>Promote the positive aspects of the sport (e.g. fair play).\u00a0<br>Display consistently high standards of behaviour and appearance.\u00a0<br>Follow all guidelines laid down by\u00a0Table Tennis England\u00a0and the Club.\u00a0<br>Hold appropriate valid qualifications and insurance cover.\u00a0<br>Never exert undue influence over performers to obtain personal benefit or reward.\u00a0<br>Never condone rule violations, rough play or the use of prohibited substances.\u00a0<br>Encourage participants to value their performances and not just results.\u00a0<br>Encourage and guide participants to accept responsibility for their own performance and behaviour.<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Code of Conduct\u00a0&#8211; Club Officials and Volunteers The essence of good ethical conduct and practice is summarised below.
